Yes, this is actually Sparklehorse’s Limited Edition 4 LP/7 disc "Box of Stars" Box Set exclusive to Vinyl Me, Please. Set collects all 4 proper Sparklehorse releases including Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot, Good Morning Spider, It's A Wonderful Life, and Dreamt For Light Years in the Belly of a Mountain.
If you’re wondering about the friendly pricing, it’s because Vivadixie arrived with a noticeable blemish on side 1 that causes a whoosh with every pass through the first couple of minutes of ‘Homecoming Queen.’ See pic for a closer look at that blemish. The good news is the record plays through without skipping (on my Pro-Ject/Ortofon setup). The rest of the double album set is clean and glossy, and sounds utterly fantastic.
Given the sub-optimal condition of Vivadixie, however, I’ve adjusted the overall price so that you’re essentially getting that album for free (set is listing for $239 on VMP site).
As you'll see in the pics, the box is still in shrink, and though I didn't play the rest of the albums inside, I did remove each to inspect and make sure there were no other blemishes. The great news is that the other albums appear to be absolutely immaculate in every way, so really it's just the one song that's problematic. I've included a pic of the hype sticker if you want more details about the box set's make-up. Please note, however, that VMP could not get these numbered prior to release, so that part of the sticker is not accurate.
