~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~ You are bidding on this Rare Canadian Garage 45 by the Spassticks entitled "Love's Got A Hold On Me" b/w "If That's What She Wants" on APEX Records 77057, original CDN pressing from 1967.
Very rare and extremely obscure Canadian Garage 45 release by The Spassticks - also appropriately nicknamed as "The Spazz Sticks" by many loyal groups of fans for their uncanny ability to deliver heavy fuzzy guitar and drum riff chord beats on stage.
Very underrated group who recorded well polished vinyl versions of their stage acts. The A-Side "Love's Got A Hold On Me" dishes out both garage and punk vocal dashes, both rock and fuzz riff licks - all blended in with a nice psych edge overtone.
The B-Side "If That's What She Wants" is a truly enjoyable pop love ballad that will surprise you with it's very own unique style. These guys were exceptionally talented - they certainly deserved more than just 2 very obscure 45 releases on the Apex label.
This 45 is truly worth being comped - if you take the time to find a copy or if you take the time to listen.
An outstanding near mint copy that is extremely difficult to locate in this condition.
