Description

Up for auction is a mega-rare Advance Promotion Copy on the Penny Farthing label of the Spencer Mac single Blues Up In Down Town / Ka-Ka Kabya Mow-Mow (Sing A Little Love Song) PEN 723. Will you be the lucky groover who wins this monster? The release date of this as listed on the label was 26/6/70.

The single is in visually excellent condition with only a few very faint hairline marks visible under strong light. Labels are clean and intact with no writing or tears and the centre is still present and intact. I have not played the record but I can if you want; I expect it will play fine. The lady I got it from explained that her mother worked for the BBC in the 60s and early 70s and used to be sent promos like this - I would confidently say that in the last 39 years it has been played once or twice, if at all!

Bid with confidence; I offer a full, no-questions-asked, money-back guarantee on all music I sell and I've never had to give a refund. All my records are sent properly packaged in cardboard mailers with a corrugated insert. Good luck.

Just so you know - the three marks visible at about the 4 'o' clock position on the record in the photo are actually the reflection of my fingers holding the camera. They are NOT on the record (this should give some indication of the high gloss condition of the vinyl).

I appreciate that the sleeve in the picture is a bit tatty so the record won't be sent in that particular one unless the winner requests it (it was just for the photo really). Unfortunately I don't have a Penny Farthing company sleeve so I'll mail it in a good condition Decca sleeve or something else, or even just a plain white one. I hope that's OK for the winning bidder.
