Description
This is a very good copy of a really fun artifact, the soundtrack from Rob Reiner's classic 1984 mockumentary, This Is Spinal Tap. (The satirically bombastic full title of the record is From the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack “This Is Spinal Tap”.) The jacket's primary flaw is a 6” crease on the back cover. Otherwise it's in fine overall condition with corner and seam wear, light ring wear, and light creasing along the spine and seams (VG++). The disc has some hairline scratches and scrapes, none of which look like they will have more than a minor effect on play, and some light scuffing (VG+). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve with a band photo and -- another satirical touch -- song lyrics (EX+).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. Many records were purchased new. Most were played just 1-2 times and taped. I have visually graded all discs (since I no longer have a turntable), and have tried to err on the side of caution when imperfections are apparent.
