Description

The Spiritual Five 78

When You Give The Best Of Your Service b/w Footprints Of Jesus

Top Hat 1011 Label

Original pressing from 1952

Two intense hard gospel quartet sides!

The Spiritual Five was a prominent gospel quartet whose history was often interconnected with other groups of the same name. This specific Los Angeles lineup featured

  • Otis Willard: Lead vocal
  • W. C. Trammel: Tenor
  • General Allen: Tenor
  • J. D. Sommerville: Baritone
  • Percy Jackson: Bass

This group is known for migrating from Tyler, Texas, to Los Angeles, where they recorded for smaller labels like Score, Coleman, and this rare Top Hat release.

This was probably never before offered on Ebay or Discogs, and probably too rare to be on Youtube.

The record is in VG++ condition.

This labels have a lot of water damage
