Description
Spooky Tooth "It's All About" UK pink Island eye first pressing 1968. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
SPOOKY TOOTH "IT'S ALL ABOUT":
This is the early pink 'eye' Island pressing with "STEREO COMPATIBLE" mentioned on the labels.
The LP has signs of wear and tear, some obvious scratches, light scuffs and hairlines (so would probably be graded visually at VG or VG-.... a few of the scratches are feelable so do cause some clicks where they appear, and overall the album plays with some crackle in places, but nothing too annoying or overpowering otherwise. The record and sound might benefit from a deep clean. That said, I have play tested the whole thing, and in spite of the aforementioned wear and scratches, it still plays through loud and clear and is still a very enjoyable listen.
I always like to warn people in the case of a scratched record in case it jumps or sticks on their own record player, but on my Audio-Technica AT-LP5x at a tracking weight of 2 grams, it plays fine on there so hopefully using that as a guide, it should play well enough for you depending on the turntable you use.
The sleeve shows signs of wear and tear, but the spine is still legible and intact, there are some creases and other signs of wear (see photos) but it's all in one piece.
There is no writing or tearing on the labels, but one label does have a small patch that looks like it has faded slightly, which doesn't really come across in the photos.
So in short, if you want something near mint, this isn't the copy for you(!), but if you want something playable until a better copy comes along this might do the trick!
