This is the special SCRIPT COVER ADVANCED PROMO COPY of "Born to Run" listed in Goldmine's "Top 100 Most Valuable Albums".
There are a number of differences from the standard commercial release.
Special cover, writing in script only.
No writing on spine.
Larger picture inside the gatefold.
Special promo materials included.
The vinyl is a pristine NM- . There are a few barely visible paper scuffs only. This disc is unplayed, as I was given this album by a former Columbia executive- and never become a fan of Bruce's. The cover has no splits, abrasions or other markings. It shows only faint wear on the black ink- see Bruce's left pant leg in the picture. The cover is a strong VG++. The inner sleeve is intact, with no splits. The record label is perfect with no spindle marks. The disc matrix number is AL- 33795-1A, and it was pressed at the Pitman, New Jersey plant. There are also photocopies of the promo materials including the mastering sheet, lyrics, and the August 1975 letter from the Press Director at Columbia. The original mailing envelope isn't included.
Media mail in the US is $4, and priority is $7. Standard overseas delivery for this one is $20 due to heavy packaging, and special shipping is negotiable.
