Description

This lot is a test pressing of Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen, with handwritten labels and a plain white cover with photocopied sheet affixed.  This is not the jacketed edition with script writing of Born to Run that was sent out by Columbia, but appears to be an more primitive version.  The labels and front sheet are dated January 11, 1975 which predates some of the recording sessions for the final album.   Condition of the disc is vg with minor wear noted, but nothing major.  One label has a small stain.  The jacket is in vg+ condition.  I got this several years ago with a large group of other Springsteen items from a serious long-time collector.  I can find no other examples of this version.  I would be happy to hear any information about this item, or answer any questions.
