Description

MINT Condition 3LP Set of the December 14, 1978 Winterland Concert by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (referred to as the "E-Streeters" on the LP cover). BS 2978 on Slipped Disc Records (Piste Disques, Dijon, France). Thiis is the gatefold edition, not the box edition (see below). Played once for cassette transfer and put away. No scratches, smudges or wear. No cover wear, marks or splits. Records in original sleeves. For Track Listing and more info consult: http://www.brucespringsteen.it/DB/detrec.aspx?code=LPLITPL2&hecan=1 . Hard to find, quality recording for the true Bruce colllector. From the website: After the first 450 box copies (see apposite entry), the very same records (same press) were put out in the famous 'gatefold edition' with a stunning internal photo. Same labels, same matrix, same quality (actually they were records from the same printing session) of the box edition. Actually, it is not clear if the box edition is a sort of limited edition or a cheaper package of advanced / early copies. The gatefold foldout edition is in fact more attractive than the box edition, and I guess there can be not much more than 450 around, maybe even less. So, they are both 'originals' in my opinion, even if for some strange reason, the box edition is considered much rarer…
