Description
Cover and record are both Mint - . 1983, Vertex, Germany. Sounds kinda like a mix of AC/DC, Motorhead, Scorpions. All lyrics in German, unusual for a metal band. I suppose this makes them the German equivalent to Vulcain or Baron Rojo in a way; not everything has to have lyrics in English. The crown jewel of my record collection, in that the most rabid collectors I know have never seen it before.
Apparently, before the now commonplace parental advisory stickers here in the US, this album's lyrics were deemed so offensive and smutty by German authorities it had to be kept under the counter and only sold to those who could prove they were of age with their ID card. Out of print since the initial run sold out in 1985. Apparently they've re-formed, info found on their web site: stalin-schwermetall.de
