Description
The record album is : Eloquence : by Stan Getz
1966 Verve Records..........VSP 2 (Mono).....1st Pressing
This fantastic record has 6 tracks featuring the great saxophonist Stan Getz
Stan plays with several jazz greats on this album, three who autographed the cover
On the front there is an autograph of trumpet player "Roy Eldridge", on the back there are autographs of pianist "Lou Levy" and guitarist Herb Ellis who signed "To Gus, sincerely Herb Ellis"
This record was found in an old record cabinet in my house...I checked the autographs and "Herb Ellis" and "Roy Eldridge" match online examples ( I couldn't find an example of "Lou Levy" signature).....
( Note: All records are play tested all way through.....If a record doesn't sound good, then I don't sell it ! )
- Cover : Vg + ........Intact.....Minor normal shelf wear ....The tiny word "modern" is written on back cover...... Some scuffing / ring wear on black front cover...
- Vinyl Record: Ex / Nm.........Very sharp........Play tested and sounds excellent...
- Labels: .....Look very nice....
- Inner sleeve: Original Verve company paper sleeve
