Description
Verve V-8545 is the original Mono version of the classic Getz / Gilberto album featuring Antonio Carlos Jobim and the vocal stylings of Astud Gilberto. It features the international smashes - The Girl From Ipanema, Corcovado, and Desafinado.
The record is in great shape and EX - a nice sheen, with a few in-and-out marks. It is NOT a DG. The getefold cover is a strong VG+ - mostly clean with slight yellowing. There is the beginnings of a seam slit on the botttom center - and a tiny beginning of split on the upper opening. I can't tell you how many copies of this I've seen over the years, but I don't recall seeing one with a white border. This has a white border (see photo)

The covers for the first pressing are easily recognized because the spine has “GETZ/GILBERTO Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto VERVE V-8545” in yellow.
