Description
Original deep-groove pressing of "Conception" on the West 50th Street yellow labels of Prestige PRLP 7013. The playing surface is in near-new condition - bright and clean - with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. Similarly, the non-laminated original cover has the West 50th Street address and is in stunning condition: sharp corners, no ring wear, bright and spotless back slick - in all, very nearly as it looked when first purchased 50 years ago. This is the first LP release for much of the material, drawn from 1950 and 1951 sessions that featured Miles Davis, Lee Konitz, Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins, and Gerry Mulligan.
