Description

Very rare British release of the soundtrack to ‘Biggles: Adventures in Time’ (1986). One side contains pop songs, the other is the score, featuring music by Stanislas Syrewicz.

The movie starred Neil Dickson, Alex Hyde-White (son of Wilfred), Fiona Hutchison and Peter Cushing.

Despite the obvious defects to the outer cover, the vinyl remains in decent condition (read details below). Get this one while you can!

Stanislas Syrewicz, Various ?– Biggles (The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Album) (1986)
Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): VINYL: G-VG. Clean on visual inspection. Some light marks, scuffs and hairlines, but nothing major – and no deep scratches. Mild surface noise at run-ins and light static during quieter cues and between tracks. The odd click/pop but vocals and synths sound great. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: F-G. Colours are bright, unfaded and clean. Super glossy sheen to both sides. Front has massive rip at top where film title logo is. Light creasing in from edges. Faint disc outline. Corners show wear and scuffs. Spine has a few creases and centre split. Bottom edge undamaged, top edge lightly worn/torn. Aperture in fantastic shape with only mild nicks. Reverse side shows some light creasing in from edges but is very clean. A decent example but for the torn cover.
INNER SLEEVE: VG-EX. Original. White paper with angled aperture corners and black printed text on one side. Small sellotape residue rectangle at top of other side. Clean and intact.

ITEM CONDITION - items are graded according to Record Collector definitions - see below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR:
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR:
The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:
The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
