Description

I am having a bit of a clear out and relinquishing some of my Jazz records. They have been well cared for and cleaned during my ownership. I am starting all auctions at 99p with NO reserve so a chance to grab some real bargains as they are all rare sought after records. I could write a long listing for each but will keep the info below brief and if any further questions, images or videos of them playing are required please let me know. I am happy to combine postage costs and will do every second LP free postage via PayPal refund. All ratings are done using the Goldmine Standard and are both play and visually rated.

Stanley Turrentine - Hustlin'.

Released on Blue Note Records in 1965 this isthmus original Stereo release.

VAN GELDER and P for Plastylite pressing plant stamped into dead wax.

This LP is a middle of the road Blue Note recording compared to the avant garde releases around the same time, most of Stanley Turrentine's were, however, that doesn't mean it is no good, far from it. It is as accomplished as it gets with Shirley Scott (Turrentine's wife) on organ and the classy Kenny Burrell on guitar.
