Description
Stanley Turrentine “Joyride” original 1965 release from Blue Note Records (# ST 84201 stereo) in a cardboard sleeve. The record grading is Very Good (VG) . The run-our groove has the “VAN GELDER” stamp. Note description below regarding the missing ‘Plastylite ear’. The outer case is Excellent (EX). The inner sleeve is original with photo tiles of other releases. The cover is still in its original plastic wrap with a sticker present in the top upper left (all reflected in the photos). All sales final.
NOTE: Absence of Plastylite Ear on run-out groove
"There are also around forty Blue Note titles in the Blue Note catalog, examples are 4193, 4196, 4204, 4206, 4209, and many others approaching the 4250 cut-off, which had been prepared for release prior to the sale of Blue Note, labels and covers printed, but were pressed subsequent to the company sale to Liberty. Hence the original first pressing is without ear."
