Description

Stanley Turrentine-Hustlin’ LP Blue Note 4162 Mono 1st Pressing 1965 Jazz Vinyl.

This Is A 1st Pressing In Mono Released In 1965 On Blue Note. Both Sides Are Deep Groove & Have The Classic White/Blue Label w/“Blue Note Records Inc • New York USA” Text. Both Runouts Have “P” Etched & “Van Gelder” Stamp. The Cover Is Clean w/Minimal Wear(VG+). It Has The “43 West 61st St., New York 23” Address Along The Bottom Of The Back Cover.

The Record Has Some Wear w/A Handful Of Scuffs & Some Light Scratches. The Record Plays Thru w/o Any Skips & Has Some Crackle But Doesn’t Overtake The Music. A Couple Of The Scuffs Are Audible Resulting In Several Ticks No Big Pops. Side 1-Is A Bit Cleaner Playing More(VG+) Than(VG). Side 2-Plays Thru A Few Of Those Scuffs So It Sits More In The(VG) Realm. In Summation, This Record Has Some Miles On It But Is Still Very Enjoyable, And Collectable. Burrell’s Playing Against Shirley Scott’s Organ Lines Are Special & Stanley’s Connection To Shirley Is Obvious. I Hope This All Helps More Than It Hurts. Thx For Your Consideration, D

P.S.-The Only Reason I’m Getting Rid Of This Is b/c I Have A Better Copy In Stereo.
