Description

Stanton Davis' Ghetto Mysticism-Brighter Days-RARE Private Jazz Funk LP! This listing is for the vinyl record from Stanton Davis' Ghetto Mysticism, titled, Brighter Days. It was released in 1977. (Outrageous Records 2~Original U.S. First Pressing-private pressing made near Boston, Massachusettes). The record features 9 fantastic tracks. I'd describe it as jazz funk and fusion with cosmic, spaced out fusion, afro, spirtual jazz and other influences. The vinyl is very clean and shiny and grades Near Mint, with no scratches or marks. The record play grades near mint throughout; as I playgraded every song on the record. The jacket doesn't have any rips, writing or seam splits, but it grades only G+, due to a water stain in the upper right corner, which is roughly 1 inch by 4 inches. It also has some corner wear and some cover wear/ringwear.

  • SONGS: The record has 9 excellent songs: Things Cannot Stop Forever(Poon Tang Tally-Wacky), Space-A-Nova 1, Play Sleep, Brighter Days/Brighter Daze, Funky Fried Tofu, Nida, Space-A-Nova 2, High Jazz and High Jazz Reprise. That's the record, good luck bidding!
  • CONDITION: Record: NEAR MINT ::: Jacket: G+
  • Please note that all of my records are original U.S. first pressings; unless noted differently; where I write the record label and label number at the beginning of the description. I've sold primarily vinyl on Ebay since 1999 and my focus has been honest grading and secure packing. Please feel comfortable buying from me as I've sold vinyl on Ebay since 1999 and my feedback card has over 5,000+ positives with just 1 negative. My main focus is honest grading and secure packing. For grading I use a bright light to inspect each record for any possible scratches or marks. I also play grade all or parts of every record I sell. I rarely use pictures because taking pictures is very time consuming and I've decided that how a record sounds is more important than how a jacket looks. Since I do not do pictures; I'm very conservative with my jacket grading. My grading scale for the vinyl and jacket can be found on my Ebay me page at http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=playgradedvinyl88 For packing I use a professionally made vinyl record box and 2 extra cardboard filler pads for added protection. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence!
