Description

Janos Starker and Gyorgy Sebok - BRAHMS SONATAS FOR CELLO AND PIANO - Mercury SR-90392 - RFR2/RFR2 - p17 lathe

It is a mating of talents made in heaven, as they say. Or, as musicologist Lakeland Ledger put it:

"Here is an absolutely perfect technique, a total control of his instrument. He is a wizard, and together with his long-time friend and associate, Gyorgy Sebok, he has produced a performance as close to perfection as you can get."

An outstanding recital LP of particular note, this edition has a cover without fault, save for a "bb" hole.

Inside, the RFR2 platter, pressed on lathe p17, should play near mint. Nicely kept, this copy.
