Description

Janos Starker plays Bach Suites for Unaccompanied Cello. Original Mercury Living Presence 3 stereo LP set, Catalog Number SR3-9016.

I'm not an expert record rater, but I'd judge both box and LPs to be between VG and VG+ on the Goldmine scale, probably closer to VG+. The LPs are in excellent shape, with good sound, no scratches and little surface noise. There are minimal spindle marks around the center holes of the records. The labels are clean, and without writing or other markings. I can send a few MP3s of short excepts of the LPs by email so you can evaluate the condition of the records for yourself.

The box is in very good shape, with only minor wear. The only significant issues are that the corner is split on the lower left of the top cover, and about 1/2" of the black paper on the bottom edge of the cover is missing on that corner, and a small amount of that paper is missing on the upper right corner. This can be readily repaired if desired. The liner notes are intact and in good condition. There are no markings anywhere except for a few notes (about 1" square) on the inside of the top cover, and on one of the inner sleeves.

The pressing numbers on the LPs are:

Side 1: SR-90445A-RFR-3 (handwritten)

Side 2: SR-90445B-RFR-1 (handwritten)

Side 3: SR-90446A-RFR-2 (handwritten)

Side 4: SR-90446B-RFR-2 (handwritten)

Side 5: SR-90447-A-M2 (stamped)

Side 6: SR-90447-B-M3 (stamped)

I've set a reasonable reserve on this set, in view of its rarity.

I reserve the right to reject bids from members with negative or no feedback. International bidders must pay by PayPal, and must pay for air shipping and insurance at the final price. I will also only use the actual price for customs declarations.

Thanks for your interest. Let me know if you have any questions.
