After two relatively poor selling albums, their major breakthrough came when they signed with Vertigo.

This their first on the label was released in 1972 and heralded an even heavier, self-produced sound. This album was essentially the stylistic template for each album they released up until Blue for You in 1976

Presented in its original 1st Uk pressing with the iconic Swilr label and original inner.

Vinyl condition*: NM

Labels: They are lovely & clean, with just feint spindle trails

Spindle hole: Some wear to the rim on both sides

Playing surface: Side A has a cluster of light scratches across tracks 3 & 4, however the sound is not affected. Side 2 has a light scratch on track 2 again without any sound issues. 

Run Off: Lovely & clean

Sound*: NM

After listening right through this album the sound is lovely and clear, with good detail and clarity. Its a real nice listen

Overall its a great sounding copy

Spine: Near perfect with clear text, lovely & straight and undamaged

Seams: Perfect top & bottom

Opening: Lovely & straight with a few dinks to the leading edge of the rear panel

Front Cover: Very tidy with a couple of age spots

Back Cover: Again very clean with one small nick at 7 oclock position

Gatefold area: Superb condition

Sleeve: The swirl inner is in lovely shape

VINYL GRADE DESCRIPTION GUIDE

MINT (M): A perfect record that looks like it has just left the factory, with NO flaws what so ever looking as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record appears virtually flawless at first glance and has a great luster. It should only have very minor scuffs or marks on the surface of the vinyl, which are only visible under strong light. It should play without any noise particularly over the flaw. 

EXCELLENT (EX): A record with only minor scuffs, which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few scuffs or marks. It should play without any noise over the flaw.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record shows wear which could include surface scuffs and marks, blotches or stains. The vinyl still has a great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. The flaws may cause some surface noise. 

A plus (+) or (-) following the condition indicate variations of the condition i.e. VG+ is in slightly better condition than VG but not excellent.

SLEEVE & INSERTS GRADE DESCRIPTION GUIDE

MINT (M): The cover is free of any stickers, address labels, writing or labels. There are no tears or seam splits or wear / fading to the cover. The age of the record has not affected the condition. The cover, sleeve and any inserts (posters, stickers, lyric sheets) look brand new.

NEAR MINT (NM): The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age.

EXCELLENT (EX): The artwork is still as close to perfect as can be. There may be some impressions to the cover (minor outer ring wear) but no dis-colouration. It may have some slight creases to the corners, but no major wrinkling, holes or other damage. 

VERY GOOD (VG): The artwork looks clean but with slightly more wear. This could include some fading due to minor sun damage, but there will be know no stains or mildew from water damage. Some minor wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through.

Packaged well using high quality card mailers. Each disc is placed in a plain sleeve to avoid seam splits during transit. The cover is placed in a 450g clear sleeve, with card stiffeners placed either side to protect the package.
