Steeleye Span original 1971 first release and pressing on Pegasus label - Ten Man Mop Or Mr Reservation Butler Rides Again - PEG-9.


The follow-up to Please to See the King.  One of the best traditional English electric folk albums of the 1970's featuring Maddy Prior, Martin Carthy, Tim Hart, AshleyHutchings and Peter Knight.  A glorious set of traditional folk ballads and tunes re-arranged with traditional and dramatic modern accompanyments. Unmatched before and since.


Original gatefold cover with images stuck on front and back sides, in near-mint condition.  Includes original psychedelic sleeve with separate track notes and picture booklet, all in impeccable clean condition. 


An original first release/pressing on the Pegasus label not the subsequent Mooncrest rerelease. Matrix marks read PEG 9 A-1U (stamps 1 and B) and PEG 9 B-1U (stamps 1 and N). Disc is near mint, with little/no surface noise or clicks. Overall VG++ to Excellent.
