  For sale is Steely Dan's Katy Lied, originally released in 1975 by ABC Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is stamped "Kendun", signifying that this record was mastered at Kendun Recorders in Burbank, California. This is a hallmark of state-of-the-art engineering and superior sound quality and is highly sought after by collectors and music lovers. I bought this used and immediately put this album into a MFSL archival inner sleeve after cleaning it professionally on my VPI machine. This protects the integrity of any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with this release. The inner sleeve is Near Mint. The cover is graded as VG+ because of a crease along the top of the back cover, a cut corner and some corner blunting. The spine has a little color loss at both corners from these rubs. The vinyl is Near Mint with just the faintest of sleeve marks that do not affect the playback. This is still one of the best copies of this hard to find album that I have ever seen or heard. You would be hard pressed to find one in this condition, being that it has become so scarce. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
