The cover is in VERY GOOD ++ condition with minor wear on the bottom seam! Comes with original STATIC FREE inner sleeve and 2 MOBILE FIDELITY insert.

 What we have here is one of two or three rarest Mobile Fidelity vinyl pressings in existence. Shortly after this album was issued, a licensing dispute erupted between ABC records (Steely Dan's label) and Mobile Fidelity, causing the ENTIRE press run of "Katy Lied"  MFSL pressing to be withdrawn from circulation, thus making it one of the rarest MFSL titles. "Katy Lied" is right up there with the MFSL test pressing of Janis Joplin's "Pearl", Beatles' "With the Beatles" and Ry Cooder's "Jazz" as the most coveted and rarest Mobile Fidelity vinyl in existence. 

 "Mobile Fidelity Labs" audiophile album vinyl pressings were not only analogue, audiophile masterpieces and connoisseur delights, they have become true pieces of audio history and lore. These majestic recordings received a meticulous and laborious treatment like no other recordings in the entire history of the recorded sound. EVER SINCE THE MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LABS TEMPORARILY CLOSED IN DECEMBER OF 1999 (ONLY TO REOPEN IN 2003), THESE RECORDINGS HAVE BEEN ESCALATING IN VALUE AND DEMAND. This is a rare opportunity to acquire this great album in its FINEST audio format, no longer in print, and no longer easily obtainable. 

The vinyl is in NEAR MINT - condition!

The labels are the ORIGINAL WHITE and are in excellent condition.

Terms and Payment

Our starting prices are always reasonable. Very rarely will you see a "Reserve Auction". Auctions run for seven days. We Accept PayPal ONLY! Payment must be made within 72 hours of auction close unless other arrangements are made before the auction ends.

Packaging

LP's are removed from the cover and shipped outside of jacket in a inner paper sleeve. The cover and record are then placed in the plastic record protector. Finally, they are packed in the cardboard record mailer supported by cardboard stiffeners. The record is then packed well as for it not to move around during shipping!

Shipping and Insurance

I do not profit from shipping and handling.

US Customers: Shipping cost is as follows: $4.00 Media Mail (2-9 days) or $8.00 Priority Mail (3-5 days).

US customers please be aware that Media Mail can take up to 12 business days to arrive (and on rare occasions even longer). In most cases it will arrive at your door within 5-6 days. I ship all items within 2 business days of receiving your payment. If you would like to receive your item more quickly, I recommend you select Priority Mail as your shipping option.

International Customers: Unfortunately, Interntional Shipping prices have gone up! Shipping methods are First Class or Priority International. First Class cannot be tracked.
