Stephen (Gaskin)/Returning Spiritual Experience To The People (From The Great Western Tour)/Farm Records ST-101 (Summertown, TN, private pressing) (1974). 2-LP in jacket with shrink wrap still intact, although this is NOT a sealed item, with white inner sleeves. Hippie-beatnik spiritual philosophy, counter culture. Spoken word, recorded from live appearances from 1973. This record is quite rare. Stephen Gaskin helped to form The Farm in Summertown, TN after leaving San Francisco in 1970. 60 cars of people migrated to TN in that first move. The Farm, as a counter culture community based heavily on spiritual philosophy and agriculture, still exists to this day, and was once the largest hippie community in the world. Stephen Gaskin died from natural causes on July 2, 2014, at the age of 79.
NM/VG++ (records/jacket) LPs looks lightly played and have only the lightest markings and a couple of sleeve scuffs, and play very well with light, occasional noise or or a tick. (LISTEN-high quality mp3 provided, please allow time for loading). Labels are exceptionally clean. Jacket has minimal wear and has been well protected by the shrink wrap, but this is NOT a sealed item, as shown. All seams and spine are fully intact. This is a single pocket jacket for 2 LPs, but does have a cardboard divider between the 2 LPs inside the record pocket.
Any cropping, color shift or distortion of the image is the scan or photo, NOT the item.
Remember, in addition to PayPal, I accept credit cards directly. VISA, MC, Discover and AMEX. As always, every item gets a plastic sleeve, I ship promptly, package very well and guarantee every item I sell. Please check my feedback!
International customers please note, it has become necessary to ship via a trackable, insured method to ITALY, UKRAINE, ISRAEL and BRAZIL at the customer's expense. These custom services can add significant cost to shipping to these destinations. Customers from these locations will be invoiced accordingly at the close of the auction.
