Description

An original 1st press of MANASSAS on UK Atlantic. Matrix 1/1/1/1. A 1st pressing from 1972 and you can tell from the pressing weight. But for further verification - note the permiter text is all in the southern sector without any sign of the Warners logo. The vinyl comes housed in an original Tinsley Robor gatefold cover. There's inners are original too. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side, and a superficial trail - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of minor deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Those strings! Highly addictive. . It is a great player.  A few crackles in one brief isolated spot per side. A super rendition. A couple of slight ticks in a couple of spots in track 2 [side 1]. Nothing unpalatable. This is 100% acoustic and very fussy. Only a clean player is going to stand half a chance of a decent rendition.
Cover (Ex) Very nice clean surfaces without much sign of wear or creasing - unusually so. Spine fully intact with minimal wear. The interior looks superb. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A really smart original copy.
Inner (Vg+) No splits. Slight ageing.
