Notes

Recording Dates: February and June 1995 at Blackwing, London.

2500 numbered copies plus 143 un-numbered 'sample' copies for promotion.

#0001 - 0099. Black vinyl with small hole in yellow/purple on white board sleeves. 99 numbered copies plus 5 promo copies in off-white Gypsum board sleeves,

#0100 - 0445. Clear vinyl with large hole in silver/blue on grey chipboard sleeves. 346 numbered copies plus 29 promo copies.

#446 -0825. Translucent maroon vinyl with large hole in gold/maroon on brown chipboard sleeves. 380 numbered copies plus 25 promo copies. 6 of the promo copies were packed in red/black on orange covers due to the lack of gold on brown sleeves. 2 additional promo copies were red vinyl with brown labels which were packed in the red/silver on orange covers.

#0826 - 1200. Translucent red vinyl with large hole in red/black on orange poster board sleeves. 375 numbered copies plus 32 promo copies. 25 of the numbered copies [#1176 - 1200] were packed in red/silver on orange sleeves where the typesetting was printed in silver instead.

#1201 - 2500. Translucent yellow vinyl with a small hole in yellow/purple on opff-white Gypsum board sleeves. 1300 numbered copies (this) plus 52 promo copies. 14 numbered copies [#2487 - 2500] were packed with maroon vinyl copies as IPR ran out of yellow vinyl - too many yellow vinyl promos were mailed out!

All of the disks were supposed to have a large centre hole but the pressing plant forgot for the black vinyl which was pressed a month before the other colours.

These tracks can also be found on the Aluminum Tunes compilation but with different titles.

It took over a year from us delivering the masters to IPR and the eventual IPR release and in the meantime we changed the titles but by then it was too late for IPR to change the artwork.

A set of stamps came with each disk and with the overages a book of stamps was produced.

A 7x7" insert of liner notes and a booklet of 12 "The In Sound" stamps. There is also a sheet of 12 stamps attached to the inside of the gatefold style jacket. Also a 4x4" insert "explanation" of some errors in the release.

A-side plays at 45 RPM.
B-side plays at 33 ⅓ RPM.

Design for the artwork comes from Gary McFarland's 1966 release on Verve (V6-8632), also titled "The In Sound."

The photos you see are taken by me. All records are either MINT to VERY GOOD, I are more of a collector and kept these records in great condition. If the album is on Apple Music, Spotify, etc, I am usually listening on those outlets and can use extra money since Hurricane Ian and Nicole hit pretty hard.

This item will ship USPS Priority Mail (usually 1-3 business days) within the U.S.  I am adding $8.00 for shipping and handling, add an additional $1 for any additional record to ship. If you are bidding/winning on anything else but a record, we will calculate the shipping when all packages packed.
If I am shipping INTERNATIONAL, we will need to add $15 for shipping and $2 each additional record won. No mixing of records and any other auctions we have. Sorry. If you have any questions about your package please send me an eBay message.

Customer satisfaction is very important to me, so I take extra measures to ensure that you get the very best service. If you have any questions or problems, don't hesitate to send us an eBay message, sorry I don’t do email…(collgeparkcollects). I can only answer eBay messages.

During this time, I assure you all packages will be shipped. I live walking distance to the local post office and will be shipping packages EVERY Monday and Thursday. We know this may not be ideal in the 2 business days of handling then shipping, but all items are going out. So bid with confidence and we will be in amazing communication during this time and your bidding. Thanks so much for looking.
