Steve Lacy Soprano sax w.W.Kelly Prestige N.Y. yellow DG RVG very rareSteve Lacy ' Soprano sax ' PRESTIGE PRLP 7125 (USA) mono - N.Y. 446 W yellow label with deep groove - on bottom back cover has the address 447 W N.Y.19 - rec. and issued on 1956 - on trail-off (dead wax) of both sides has the 'RVG' for Rudy Van Gelder - very rare 1st Steve Lacy record credited to him

Visual grading : record is VG on side A still with some lustre but with two evident defects. The first is cm.3 or 1" feelable scratch and the other is a circular groove wear on the last part of 3rd track. Side B is VG+ still with much lustre has just a few light marks. Very clean labels with a light spindle wear
Playing grading : record is VG because has some background noise even if below music's level, except for an heavy rustling of about 1 minute on the 3rd track of side A. Also some occasional ticks
Cover grading : cover is VG to VG+ very clean front, edges and corners are nice and spine is ok with printed titles fully readable. Has the bottom back cover, just close to the bottom edge, clearly soiled possibly for a water damage but all printed notes and pictures are fully visible. Also has a light trace for sticker's removal and a small stamp 'The music rack' on top right of back cover
