Description

This one is extremely rare and a great thing to own if you collect or like the The Steve Miller Band. On sale is the Dutch Capitol test pressing of the 1977 Brave New World album. Only a handful of these were made and fewer have survived. This comes from a collection of one of the children of an EMI producer, working at and for the record company in Haarlem in the Netherlands, who has kept it stored for over 40 years and has hardly played it. The sleeve has Steve Miller and Capitol 062 - 80117 (the catalogue number)  handwritten on the sleeve and has Proefpersing (Dutch for test pressing) stamped on it. The record has a white Proefpersing label on the A side and a white label on the B side. The sheet with details on the album (cue sheet) is missing. The record sounds really good, and looks really good, with hardly any ticks and it doesn't skip. The sleeve itself is in very poor condition due to silverfishes and has a tear on the side of the sleeve and a small tear on the back. If you need more pictures, just ask.
Registered shipping only! Shipping and handling is: Nederland €13, EU €19, Rest of the world €29.  I am a collector of vinyl myself and hate it when an album arrives damaged or warped, so I use new cardboard boxes, plastic sleeve and cardboard on both sides of the lp. I can combine shipping, just add another euro for each additional lp.
