A landmark recording of Wonder's "Classic Period", the album has been regarded as his transition from the "Little Stevie Wonder" known for romantic ballads into a more musically mature, conscious, and grown-up artist. On the album, Wonder continued to experiment with the revolutionary T.O.N.T.O. (The Original New Timbral Orchestra) synthesizer system developed by Malcolm Cecil and Robert Margouleff, and Innervisions became hugely influential on the future sound of commercial soul and black music!! ## The Vinyl is described as Excellent+ & was fully play-tested earlier today playing with awesome sound, average background & no skips or stops. Several spindle marks to both labels. There are a reasonable number of extremely fine hairlines & sleeve marks to both sides of the record. The Vinyl has retained nearly all of its rich waxy lustre. The Gatefold Cover is in totally amazing shape & I have described as Excellent. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is just a tiny amount of ring wear to front & verso. There are some very minor colour losses to edges & spine. There are some barely visible foxing spots to cover. No seam splits. The Inner Sleeve missing 99.9% of the time is described as Excellent... no seam splits & just a small tear centre open edge which has been discreetly taped. Please see attached photos...
