   For sale is Stevie Wonder's Innervisions, originally released in 1973 by Tamla Records, a subsidiary of Motown Records, with a gate-fold presentation. According to the liner notes, the record was mastered by George Marino. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched  "Kendun", followed by the matrix numbers 13-B/13-B, indicating that the record was mastered at Kendun Recorders of Burbank, California before an earlier stamper was used to make this record. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. I bought this record new, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Near Mint Minus because of a minor corner blunt. The spine has just a hint of color loss at the corners. The vinyl is visually graded as VG because of some faint sleeve marks and a surface scratch across the last track on Side Two (B5) along with a small 1/2" surface scratch at the very end of the  last track on Side One (A4). I'm play grading the album as VG because of some occasional low level surface noise and 20 seconds of rotational ticking at the very end of "Golden Lady" (A4). This the still one of the best copies of this album that I have ever heard or seen and you would be hard pressed to find one in any condition, being that it has become so scarce.
