Description

An original 1st press of BOOK on UK Tamla. Note how the perimeter text mentions 'Gramophone' - indicative of 1st issue. Matrix A1/B1. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with EMI white company inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In very nice condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation.  Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A super player by and large even into quieter moments. The odd slightest crackle here and there in track 1 [nothing upfront] - but then clean as a whistle thereafter.  Overall a stellar player and more than capable of fully revealing Wonder's genius at the height of his powers.
Cover (Ex-) In very decent condition and only exhibiting some minor handling .  The interior looks great - no issues. Slight edge wear. Spine 85% intact with some light wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
