Description
Vinyl 1: Very Good, only because there is a stain in the Vinyl (not scratched)
Vinyl 2: Excellent
Inner: Excellent
Cover: VG+
I have play tested the 1st record (side 1) on my Lenco LS-500 and can here no actual deterioration, or distortion of the sound on the mark/discolouration (see photos). It may be a manufacturing flaw. There are a few ticks at the beginning of side 1, probably due to a very small shallow surface scratch (very minor, see photos). Plays through beautifully, great record.
This is a vinyl record from my own collection and thus has been well looked after. I realise condition of vinyl records can be very subjective, but I am trying to be as accurate as possible, without exaggerating condition. None of my records will be listed as mint unless they are still sealed.
My grading guide is listed below:
EXCELLENT (Vinyl)
The vinyl shows some signs of having been played, but there is no difference in sound quality. There are no visible, or feelable marks on the vinyl surface.
EXCELLENT (Sleeve)
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or very minor creasing.
VERY GOOD (Vinyl)
The vinyl has obviously been played many times,
but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite having possible light surface marks or the occasional light scratch.
VERY GOOD (Sleeve)
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, acceptable.
GOOD (Vinyl)
The vinyl has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated,
perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
GOOD (Sleeve)
The cover sleeve and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
All my items listed are to the best of my knowledge untouched and unrestored. They may need a clean as they have been stored in the loft and garage.
As always I try and photograph from every angle and do not try to decive with clever angles. What you see is exactly what you get. That said, please study the photos carefully for detailed condition information and read the description properly. If I have missed anything, then I apologise in advance.
