This is a Russian release of the Soul Cages by Sting. Surprisingly very nice sound, too.
I am grading the jacket VG, but this is really as good as it gets. Reason is the quality of the paper. If it were brand new, it would have been the same. The Russians just didn't have anything better back then.
It is very rare indeed. Look at the third picture. Тир. 30000 means they only printed 30,000 copies, and rest assured most of them ended up in the hands of Sting adoring Russians, and most copies were played to oblivion.
As a souvenir, you also get a ticket stub from the Soul Cages Tour date in Madison Square Garden, September 1991. Yes, you see it right, $25 is all it cost. Can you imagine?
As opposed to other records made in USSR/Russia, this particular label (Ладь) was pretty good. Paper was flimsy and not glossy, but other than that, vinyl was clean and quiet. So much so that I kept one of these in my personal collection. Purchased new back in the early 1990's, played twice, and stored in proper conditions all this time, including the archival quality inner sleeve.
