Stone Flower - Antonio Carlos Jobim LP CTI Records CTI6002, RVG 87654.
This is the original vinyl from the 40, 50, 60, 70's
This was originally in my Dad's collection.
I am now selling it.
History of the Vinyl.
More than likely he would have bought it around the time they were released.
He tended to just take them out their sleeve, clean them with a Long rectangular felt block to remove the dust and then play them.
After, he would simply put them away again in the many wooden record cabinets we had in the front room.
If there is any damage on the outer cardboard sleeve it would be from this.
Being old type records they tended to come with a plastic inner sleeve inside a paper one to keep the dust at bay.
I do not have a Vinyl Turntable to confirm this. (see photos)
Areas of wear and tear
-The vinyl is generally in Mint condition for their age., but this one has a scratch on the last track of side 2 - On the back of the cover my Dad had a habit of writing the year of the record on it. (Not always correct)
- On the album itself, my Dad tended to fit Red and Blue round labels to identify Side 1 from Side 2.
(Reading Glasses would have been a better solution)
