Stones Roses were certainly the flavour of the month for 1990-92. Their inexorable rise upended by legal wrangles and a now infamous hiatus. A shame coz in their prime these guys laid down some of the funkiest indie rock my ear drums ever experienced. They were literaly on fire!...Take Somethin's Burnin'.for instance...have you heard this track..?it is smoldering and rocks like a m'ther!. You have have the full length crossover genius of Fools Gold. The sheer class of 'Standing Here'...and much much more. In '92...most of these copies were released in crappy casette or cd format. The Lp in 1st press format is by far the best way to hear these epic Tooons! Dont suffer the fools gold of a crappy reissue..... There's the original cover the original inner too. So, 100% genuine 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Good lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a few slightest marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly Verygood+level of playback just slight deviation in a couple of spots. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Just expect a touch of light backgtound in a couple of the quitest spots per side. Nothing persistent or unpalatable. A super player and a rare commodity.
Cover (Vg) Not up to ghe standard of the vinyl but perfectly acceptable. First thing...that sticker. I'd say...dont be thinking u can remove it. I bet u cant. Nice surfaces with minimal wear. Some edge wear and a one inch wear through on spine. The rear has a birthday message written on it...fairy well hidden amongst the stone!. Now i'm gonna work my magic on the edges of this Lp and i will get them looking 50% better. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
