Description

Audiophile-grade vinyl Reissue of STP's seminal release, "Purple", mastered by the legendary Bernie Grundman (his "BG" inscription is confirmed in the run-out groove/deadwax), and pressed at Optimal ("Made in Germany" sticker on back of jacket).
This record was opened and removed from its brand-new sealed jacket to 1) verify condition, 2) give it a proper cleaning with a vacuum record-cleaning machine, and 3) eliminate the risk of seam-spliting during shipping (an all-too common and avoidable consequence when shipping new, sealed single-LP records in standard  jackets). 
As such, while it is unquestionably in "Mint/Near Mint" condition I would rather err on the side of caution and conservatively rate it as "Excellent" condition. The jacket itself is in Mint condition with the shrink-wrap and hype sticker still intact as seen in the pictures, which are of the ACTUAL item being sold & which to be received by the buyer.
