Stones Let It Bleed Lp UK 1st Boxed Xmas 1969 [Ex/Ex-] + Poster

Description

Lovely early issue of LIB. BOXED DESIGN but one of the very 1st designs. Note how the label is just one iteration on from the Unboxed design. The font is the same and the text at the lower end of the label is precisely the same. This is from a Xmas 1969 batch. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Upton cover with peephole...this is essentially a 1st issue design. The blue inner is not bespoke Lib version but still correct for period. Original desirable poster included.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks and few very sliggt ones...per side - nothing heavy though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with deviation in one spot. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Playing clean into the quiet moments...by and large superb. Live with me exhibits a few crackles in a couple of spots and a couple of ticks in a couple of spots. But basically a lovely playing '69 copy.
Cover (E-) Very nice and flat front without ageing.  The rear has avoided much of the usual the ageing process. And one minor blemish. Minimal edge wear and sharp firm openings. Spine is 90% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) no splits.
