Description
Storyteller ORIG OZ ST LP EX ’70 Transatlantic STAL934186 Folk Prog Rock Herd
Rare OZ LP released in 1970 on Transatlantic Records Records. Cat: STAL934186. Comes in lightly textured gatefold sleeve.See the racing boat taking off into outer space on the front cover. Flip the jacket over, and see Stephen Stills apparently co-piloting just such a ship, and you'll understand why the title of this album is so right. It's "Right by You" in so many ways, although it does contain a good bluegrass tune "No Hiding Place" and lead guitar by one Jimmy Page on several cuts.
Tracks : Floor of the park/ man in the moon passage song/ Alice Brown/ The lake/ Ginger bread man/ Over the hills/ Story/ First week in January/ Has been/ Ballad of the three laps/ Morning glow/ Song for buster/ Love’s a blind.
There are a few spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause some light crackles and is in VG+ condition. Lightly textured gatefold sleeve has light ring wear, age spots and a water mark along bottom edge. Inside of gatefold has surface tears along bottom edge caused from water mark and is in VG condition.
