Strauss Also Sprach Zarathustra Maazel UK Columbia SAX 2467
The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Lorin Maazel performs Richard Strauss’ "Also Sprach Zarathustra", and "Till Eulenspiegel". An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2467), the labels are blue/green with silver radio waves and border and a note logo. The record, apart from a couple of minor surface scuffs, is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover has rubbed a little.
