Description
This is Igor Stravinsky / Bloch Szigeti violin Columbia ML 2122 10" LP USA ED1-1950
Vinyl grade - Looks like it was barely played
Sleeve grade - Solid but one split on top as shown in photo
Final thought – This was my brother-in-laws, he was a concert pianist. It's in great shape and I'm guessing it's pretty rare, it's almost 70 years old. Perhaps you've been looking for a very clean copy.
My albums have been sitting silently in my garage for years. Some were given to me by friends who were getting rid of their albums before they came back into fashion. Most of these I have never listened to but there was a time when records where my passion, so I know what to look for on vinyl.
I've seen many different ways of cleaning records on youtube...everything from using soap and water to special record cleaning machines. I wouldn't want to damage them or clean them in a way that may not be your chosen method of cleaning. They will need cleaning, or a discwasher wipe but at least it'll be your way.
I haven't sound tested them as well..it would just take too much time and honestly some would be hard for me to get through....not my taste.
In any event I've tried to be completely honest with my thoughts as if I were in your shoes making a buying decision. Also I'll ship them in proper mailers, take the album out of the sleeve etc., use poly-sleeves which seems to be the best way.
So I'm just a guy with a lot of records in his garage, not an on-line store, this isn't how I make a living. Maybe you want a copy of this LP from an honest seller, if you do whatever happens I'll make it right!
