Description
Stravinsky Firebird Ansermet UK Decca SXL 2017
This famous early stereo recording dates from 1959. The Suisse Romande Orchestra conducted by Ernest Ansermet performs Stravinky’s "Firebird". An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXLA 2017 stampers 3E/4E), the labels are black with silver lettering, Full Frequency Stereophonic Sounds "fatband" and logo, original recording by… at 10 o’clock and a groove. The record is of as new appearance plays and sounds superb (stunning recording) with a minimum of surface noise. The cover has a hint of a ring and a couple of creases and has cut-outs out of the fold-overs on the back. Payment by credit card, or Paypal is preferred –direct debit available to Australian buyers. Postage by Standard Airmail (7 to 10 days) to the U.S. or Asia is $8.50 - slightly more to Europe and elsewhere. Add $2.50 only for each additional record purchased from my auction.
