L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, conductor: Ernest Ansermet
Label: DECCA Records LXT 5425 ffrr. Mono Produced 1957, as stated on backcover.
Record: near mint- : Fully play graded on my recordplayer Kenwood and Denon DL 160 System. Some visible superficial flaws.
Tremendous, bold sound in Mono. A stereo version does not exist as far as I know!
A landmark in the developing era of Long Playing Records.
Cover: very good+ : slightest edge and ring wear.
Ernest Ansermet (1883-1969) founded the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Genève in 1918 and was its conductor a life long.
