This rare booklet: ‘Strip Story ABBA’ was published in 1979(?) by Bulls/Muziek Parade
The words: “tekst: Peter Himmelstrand vert: Cees van Leyde tek: Kjell Ekeberg © Bulls/Muziek Parade” are in small print above the title on the front ‘cover’. They also appear on the back ‘cover’.
The booklet is a series of 21 cartoon stories featuring the four members of ABBA. It is printed in black & white. It follows their lives from birth, how they met and became ABBA and what followed (until publication).
The booklet is entirely in the Dutch language.
It consists of 24 sides of A4 (6 double sided sheets of A3; folded). The sheets are loose but would appear to have been stapled at some point. Perhaps this was a ‘pull out’ magazine supplement (from the magazine Muziek Parade) but I can't confirm that.
The centrefold is an advertisement for ABBA merchandise available at the time from Muziek Parade.
The words ‘Nov 1979’ are written in blue ink on the bottom right hand corner of the front ‘cover’ which also has a very small tear about 7 cm up from the bottom right corner.
The ‘cover’ has some small stains and the pages are discoloured by age.
