Henderson, Organist and Choirmaster St. George’s Church was among the first in this country to present, in shortened adaptation, the Festival Service of Nine Lessons ahd Carols traditional at King’s College, Cambridge, England. The story of Christ’s birth, read by the Rector, the Rev. Edward O. Miller, is interspersed with selections by the choir and carols by the congregation. This recording was made during the regular morning service on the First Sunday after Christmas Day, 1958.. PROCESSIONAL CAROL OPENING SENTENCES The Rev.
