Description

This auction is for a

SUPER RARE

12" Vinyl Record From

Suburban Mutilation

Entitled

The Opera Ain't Over Till The Fat Lady Sings

This band featured
Steve Olejniczak on drums and food
Gary Farrell on guitar and vocals
and
REV NORBERT ELMO UGLY on bass and vocals

The album jacket is in good condition, some normal corner
wear and some creases, hard to see in the scan

The album itself is EXCELLENT, in fact I am listening to it right now,
no skips, very few scratches, and minimal if any crackling
(the only fuzz you're gonna hear on this album is from
the guitar)

The album and cover have numerous Rev Norb words of wisdom,
like "All Rights Reserved All Wrongs Reserved" and
This album includes lyric content which may be offensive
to some members of the public, sorry, but we're a bunch
of potty-mouths

It is Oink LP # 001
Recorded 1-15-84 at Dynamic Sound in Neenah, WI

So, how did I get this album you ask?

I met Rev Norb back in the mid-late 80's
The first place I met him was at Kutska's Hall in
Howard, WI, which used to be the best place for a
ska/punk rock show, until one night the floor gave out
and a bunch of people fell through the floor, I don't think anybody
got hurt, but believe me, the house was a rockin'
My band back then was Petrified Flem (doubt you ever heard of us)

I didn't get the album then, but a few years after that, 92 or 93,
I got into a band called Bounty Hunter, and we were playing
a battle of the bands in Wausau, and so was Rev Norb's new band
Boris The Sprinkler.
It was at that show that Norb had a few left over copies of this album with him,
and he gave me one. They didn't have their new album with the Boris
band done yet, so he was promoting his original music with some
of his remaining SUM albums.
So this album has been in my collection for almost 20 years.
I have probably only listened to it about 20 times, so like I said,
it is in great shape.
I'm selling it only because I haven't listened to it much, and I'm trying
to clear out some of my old music.

The songs on the album are
Daddy Was A Nazi
Ya Buncha Morons
Twisted Cross
Plastic Chicken
I Reject U
Yor A Dilemma
I Object
Farmers
Apathy

And on the other side are
Police State
Don't Psychoanalyze Me
No Explanations
El Salvador Stomp
Twilight Zone
Regurgitate
Deprogram
and Attack That Girl

So there you have it, one of Rev Norb's first recordings ever
with one of his first bands ever, with a little history behind it
