Description
Surburbia - Soundtrack Enigma Records 12", 33 RPM
This is the soundtrack to the 1984 film Suburbia. The film featured a cast comprised of kids from the real punk scene rather than professional actors. Flea from The Red Hot Chili Peppers being one of the more notable cast in the movie. Side A features live music, Side B is the score. Tracks: Side A:
- D.I. - Richard Hung Himself
- T.S.O.L - Wash Away, Darker My Love
- The Vandals - LEgend of Pat Brown
- Picking Up Joe
- Ethan's Rescue
- Punk Parade
- Sheila's Song
- Keep Off the Grass
- T.R. Revisited
- Suburbia
This album cover has worn edges and some age related creases, bends, and stains on the cover. It needs to be taped along the edge across from the opening. The vinyl is in good condition but definitely is showing its age. There are no significant scratches or scuffs and it plays fine.

After receiving an inquiry asking if this record had any skips I listened to it and discovered a couple places where there are tiny skips: During the song Richard Hung Himself, there is a slight skip towards the end. Also twice in Darker My Love. These aren't major skips in the music and the song continues playing through, they are more like 'hiccups'. The score side plays through nicely. Visually, when the record is spinning, it looks also like there may be a slight warp on the outside edge, although my shabby vintage record player played it just fine.
