(Tetragrammaton US 1969) Original VG/M-
Still massively underrated LP and getting rare. For me this is up there with A Gift From Euphoria as a varied and very psychedelic trip, but with excellent songcraft and the feeling of a musical journey. I think this is a mini masterpiece and has to be listened to in one stting for full effect, a bit like Euphoria. It contains orchestration, beautiful intricate songs, rural elements, heavy fuzz rock and some totally tripped psychedelia.
Condition
The sleeve looks ok, but does have a 3 inch seam split and a little clear tape on the bottom edge. The top edge is generally fine but also has the beginnings of a seam split on them top right hand corner. Otherwise there is some general ageing on the reverse. VG.
The labels are perfectly clean and I can only see one possible spindle mark on the B side label indicating this perhaps only been played once if at all.
I'm really struggling to see anything that amounts to a mark on the vinyl under bright light and plays as good as it looks. M-.
Grading
M- As new, no marks of any kind whatsoever.
EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound
VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.
VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.
