Description

This is part of a big auction of Sun Records & Rockabilly 45's I'm running this week. There are also a few Elvis records in here to celebrate the release of the movie.  Take a look at my other and keep an eye out for a King/Federal auction starting 7/24 and Herald/Ember auction starting either 8/7 or 8/14.

Release: Alton and Jimmy - Have Faith in My Love / No More Crying the Blues


Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1959


Notes: Only single ever released by Alton Lott and Jimmy Harrell as a duo. More pop-rock than rockabilly.  Side A is nothing too unusual, but side B is a great bluesy rock tune. Classic yellow labels.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with just a couple hairline/faint scuffs that extend from the runoff. Nice original gloss, but there is some faint hazing visible from liquid exposure. Nothing that effects play, both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are pretty clean as well with just some minor scuffing, mostly on side B.  See pics, but this is a solid copy overall.
