Sun Ra Nuclear War rare 12" single Y Records 1982

	£		21
	$		28

Description

Y Records 1982 UK release.  Catalog#: RA1.  Side 1: ‘Nuclear War’ (7.39).  Side 2: ‘Sometimes I’m Happy’ (4.29).  Listed as the only 12” single ever released by the Sun Ra Arkestra.  Side 1 is possibly the most laconic anti nuclear war song in existence (Nuclear War, it’s a mother f@cker…  kiss your ass goodbye… what you gonna do without your ass).  Side 2 is a love song with an edge.
Condition:
Sleeve: Good, quite a lot of wear and tear along edges, esp. at top.  Some circular marking along edge of record and at centre.  Don’t think it came with an inner sleeve but I’ve added one.
Vinyl: Visually good. Some superficial marks and light scratches.  Plays well, with a degree of mild surface noise and occasional pops, mainly on side 2, but not to any major detriment of music.
